2D Design Class Stuff

OK so I have been going through a bunch of my old art and design stuff and here is some from my college 2Dimensional Design class. It was one of those beginner art classes so it is not the greatest but I think that it shows some of the cool stuff that I was thinking about back then.

This first one is just an example or a practice to show different types of shading.

This one is a practice in line weight, style and pattern.

These next 4 were part of the final I did for the class in mine I had to show several examples of different types of weight and balance using typography and all with a similar theme. It also has a little contextual meaning because the letters I chose are E, M, B, and O. These letters obviously spell out "Embo" which was one of my nicknames in high school.
